Real friends should take care of each other by standing by each other through everything, whether it's good or bad. If you want to be a good friend, you have to stay with your friend through everything, especially the bad beccause that's when they need you the most. If you're not with them through the bad, you don't deserve to be with them in the good. I abhore people who try to be best friends with someone after something has happened to them, but couldn't be there when everything was actually happening. Friends should help each other through all the bad and celebrate with them in the good. Whenever I need to talk to someone, I know my real friends i can go to. Real friends will listen to all your problems and not judge you. They will do their best to help you deal with your problems and get you through whatever you need. If you can't be a friend during the bad, don't try to be a friend during the good.
